This allows us to print your miniatures, mounts, vehicles and field accessories with the finest details and sharp contours. Our modern printers have the highest possible resolution of 8K, layers are not visible at a layer height of 0.02mm! The models are printed with an infill of 100% or solid, and can be easily painted and finished. <\/p>\n

SLA<\/b> – How it works<\/h2>\n

In DLP\/SLA 3D printing, the starting material is a liquid resin.
This resin is in a tank with transparent foil bottom. A building platform, from which the model will later hang, lowers into the tub of resin from above. Through the film on the underside, the resin is cured by exposure in layers on the build platform, which lifts for each new layer. <\/p>\n

We use ABS resin in light gray for our models. <\/strong>
\nThe light gray resin has a smooth surface, high stability and has a high precision. The light gray color makes it easy to see depths and provides a good base for priming. The models can be primed, painted, glued or otherwise finished easily and directly after receipt.<\/p>\n

Are printed from PLA filament using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling).
This allows us to produce large and complex terrain models in one piece. Also, models that are too large can be cut into segments, printed and then glued or pinned together. The models are infill, which greatly increases their stability. layers are hardly visible with a layer height of only 0.12 mm. <\/p>\n

FDM<\/b> – How it works<\/h2>\n

In FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing, the starting material is a plastic wire.
\nThis is melted down in a melting chamber at over 200\u00b0C. While a print head scans the individual layers one by one, the liquid plastic is precisely applied or layered as a web over the “nozzle”.<\/p>\n

We add an internal support structure (infill) to the model, which makes the model much more stable. <\/h3>\n

We use eco PLA+ filament for our models. <\/strong>
\nThe black filament has a smooth surface and high stability. Of course, the material is harmless to health and can be disposed of like plastic if necessary. The models can be primed, painted, glued or otherwise finished easily and directly after receipt. The models are usually printed from matte black filament and can be primed, painted and finished directly. PLA is a biological plastic and is made from natural corn starch.<\/p>\n

With all our miniatures and models made with resin, there are no directly visible layers! We print in our printfarm on 8K UHD printers with a layer height of 0.02mm! Buildings are made with precise filament printers, which makes the layers only 0.12mm! These layers are barely visible and already disappeared after priming!<\/p>\n

We remove the supports for you!<\/h2>\n

Instead of casting channels, so-called support structures are used in FDM and resin 3D printing. We remove them for you and grind off the contact points. There may be isolated small contact people visible on your model, but these can be easily removed.<\/p>\n

Some models marked as Buildings & Terrain are made with residual print. These are particularly delicate objects, such as individual walls, which can be inserted modularly into each other. As described under payment methods and delivery times<\/a>, the delivery time shown in the store is the pure manufacturing time of the models. The shipping time to the respective country must be added to this average value. We manufacture to order, so some orders may arrive sooner and others a little later, depending on the order situation.<\/p>\n

3D printing is very individual, so delivery times or printing methods cannot be determined across the board. We will make sure that you receive your models as soon as possible in the best quality!<\/h3>\n

Layer visibility <\/b><\/h4>\n

Object shape<\/b><\/h4>\n

Not only does the layer height influence whether and how well the layers are visible, but the geometry of the models also has a strong influence. \u00a7D printing is always produced in layers. The quality of the models depends on the geometry and layer height. Resin 3D printing offers better results in both cases due to the low layer height, but large models can only be produced using FDM printing. This in no way means that FDM printed models are not high quality, just that the layers are more visible before priming. However, layers and layers are so fine that they disappeared after priming and painting!<\/p>\n

Angles and flat geometries<\/b><\/h2>\n

If a model has very flat geometries, individual layers may be more visible. Similar to a stack of paper layers that you move.<\/p>\n

Straight and flat surfaces<\/b><\/h2>\n

In the case of very even surfaces, the layers may be visible, since the layers would have to be placed with an accuracy of one thousandth of a mm, and even slight deviations would be directly noticeable. It’s like a hair in your mouth, a tiny thing that’s more noticeable than it actually is.<\/p>\n

If necessary, highly visible layers can be easily concealed with putty or epoxy resin before priming.<\/p>\n
